Devin Cleveland led the way with a 21-point, 11-rebound double-double and the Bradley Beal Elite 17U team ended the first EYBL session of the year with a 74-68 win over Chris Paul Basketball Academy on Sunday in Emerson, Georgia.

After back-to-back tough two-point losses on Friday and Saturday, the BBE Boys put it all together in the Session I finale. Cleveland, who averaged 19 points per game across the three games, connected on 5-of-11 from the field, including three times from deep to tally a game-high 21 points. Josiah Harrington added 14 points with seven rebounds, Tyran Frazier added 12 points and eight boards and Jaylan Mitchell pitched in 11 points and six rebounds.

Mitchell was the leading rebounder from the weekend, averaging 6.7 per contest.

He grabbed another eight boards and had 13 points in Friday’s 65-63 loss to Arizona Unity that saw Harrington lead the way with 15 points while Cleveland added 10.

In Saturday’s 85-83 loss to Florida Rebels, Cleveland scored 26 points, Harrington added 20 and Jimmy Mckinney stuffed the stat sheet with 21 points, seven rebounds, five assists and three steals. Bryson Wade also dished out seven assists in that game.
