Bradley Beal Elite made themselves at home just up the road from their St. Louis in Kansas City for the third stop of the summer on the Nike EYBL circuit. BBE sent teams across their three age groups, 15U, 16U, and 17U to KC, and the featured countless standout moments.
The 17U team went 3-2 over the weekend and demonstrated its potential. Their first game of the week ended with an 83-76 victory versus team LivOn. This win was led by a dominant 26-point performance from Devin Cleveland, who shot 11/20 from the field. Davis Cochran also put up a solid 14-point, 12-rebound double-double, with Jimmy McKinney and Tyran Frazier following behind with 16 and 12 points, respectively.
The second game of the weekend was a loss to Mokan Elite, 84-57. Cochran was once again a bright spot of the team, leading the pack with 14 points alongside Frazier, who added on 11 points himself. BBE bounced back from the loss in nail-biting fashion, edging out team Nightrydas in a 53-52 victory. Devin Cleveland contributed another 17 points, with Cochran putting up another double-double with 11 points and 12 boards, and Jaylan Mitchell getting close to the double-double mark with 9 points and 10 boards himself.
Game four was another tough loss for BBE as they fell to Team Durant, 75-56. However, Cochran continued to show up, putting up 17 points and 13 rebounds, proving his force in the paint throughout the entire weekend. Cleveland added another 11, and Frazier added on 8 on top of that. 17U for BBE closed the weekend on a high note, leaving the weekend with a final 73-72 thriller win over Team Final. McKinney showed his ability in this game with 17 points, Frazier put up 10, and Cochran again rounded it out with 9 points and 5 boards.

Moving onto the 16U level, the weekend started hot with a dominant win over MeanStreets, 82-70. Standout player Brady Pettigrew had a massive 30-point, 7 rebound performance, while shooting 11/19 from the field and 8 for 10 from the line. Austin Sears trailed right behind, adding 20 points, and Anthony Spratt put up 12 points, 5 boards, and 4 assists.
Game two ended in another 75-60 win over Mokan Elite. Pettigrew continued to put his skill and dominance on display, putting up another monster 31 points and 5 rebound performance. Spratt added another 15, and Majok Ater came in and delivered 12 points and 6 rebounds. Darrius Hawkins Jr. made sure everyone touched the ball, finishing with 10 assists and 7 points. Game 3 slowed their momentum as they fell 94-73 to AB Elite. Pettigrew led the effort with 22 points, and Miles Simpson complemented that with 15 points, six boards, and a whopping 5 steals in the loss.
BBE responded to this loss with one of their best wins of the weekend in the fourth game with a commanding 88-73 victory over Team Herro. Spratt and Pettigrew were matching each other’s energy, each erupting for 26 points, and Spratt shined alongside them, bringing down 7 rebounds and dishing the rock a healthy amount with 4 assists. Mike-E Holloway added 14, and Ater was a monster off the glass with 14 boards. The weekend’s closing was a heartbreaker: BBE lost 87-84 to Legynds. Spratt led the scoring with 28, and Pettigrew put 17 on top of that, but sadly, they fell short. Sears also added 14 points and 5 boards, with Andrew Terry grabbing 10 boards in the losing effort.

15U had a similar story, with some tough losses and some fantastic wins. The opener was a 74-65 loss to AB Elite. EMurion Jackson showed up with 19 points, and Stacy Sorrell put up a very complete game of 10 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists. Isaac Smith IV also added 11 points to their performance.
They also lost in their second game, a 79-34 loss to Mokan Elite. Keon Griffin led with 12 points, and EMurion Jackson put up another 7 points and 9 boards while Kaimen Robinson had the same success off the glass, bringing down another 9 boards for the team. Game 3 is where the 15s started to pick up some momentum, taking down Mac Irvin Fire 60-57 in a hard-fought win. Benton Freije had 17 points off of 8/15 shooting, and Sorrell showed up again with 16 points, 5 boards, and two steals.
Game four was one of the best performances of the weekend in a 71-46 blowout of Howard Pulley. Sorrel led with 10 points, 3 assists, and 3 steals. Elon Henderson put up 9 points and 6 rebounds. Robinson also added 9 points and 7 boards to the stat sheet. Finally, the 15s closed out the weekend with a 55-47 loss to MeanStreets. Sorrel led the effort with 11 points and 6 rebounds. Jackson also added 11 points and 5 steals.
