JaShawn “JJ” Andrews, the top-ranked player in Arkansas and standout for Bradley Beal Elite (BBE), has committed to play for John Calipari and the Arkansas Razorbacks.

The 6’6 guard from Little Rock Christian Academy is a four-star recruit in the 2026 class and the No. 22 overall prospect in the ESPN100 Rankings.

Andrews chose Arkansas over LSU and Missouri. He’s the son of former Razorback and NFL Pro Bowler Shawn Andrews.

Following his announcement, Andrews talked to On3 about Arkansas, citing the professionalism of the process with Coach Calipari and the competitive environment they’ve created in Fayetteville as main reasons for his decision.

“I feel like Arkansas is ultimately a great fit for me,” he told On3. “They operate like professionals every day and I feel like I will be competing against the best of the best everyday in practice. I feel like we have a great chance to win a national championship.”

With BBE on the Nike EYBL circuit, JJ turned heads as one of the most efficient scorers in Session One, averaging 19.7 points per game on very efficient shooting. His physicality and feel for the game have made him one of the top guards in the country and should help him make an immediate impact for the Razorbacks.
