After finishing last year’s circuit as 16U Peach Jam champs and having most of the team return while moving up a level, Bradley Beal Elite’s now 17U squad opened the EYBL circuit with a strong showing at the EYBL Open West Event.
BBE finished the weekend with a 2–1 record while securing notable wins over Team Thad and the Florida Rebels, with their only loss coming in a hard-fought battle against team Pro Skills.

What set BBE apart throughout the event was their defensive intensity. The team allowed just 61.6 points per game across the three contests, a testament to their commitment on the defensive end. The entire roster showed buy-in and energy that made life difficult for opposing offenses.
Leading the way for BBE was 6’6” junior forward JaShawn Andrews, who averaged 19.3 points and 4.3 rebounds per game, showcasing his ability to score with touch on the outside and physicality on the inside.
