As he works to guide his team to the NBA Finals, Jayson Tatum’s body of work this season was recognized on Wednesday when he was selected to the All NBA First Team for the first time in his fifth NBA season.

The Bradley Beal Elite alum finished the 2021-22 regular season with career highs in points per game (26.9), rebounds (8.0) and assists (4.4). It’s the second time that JT, also a three-time All-Star, has been selected to an All-NBA team. He was picked to the All-NBA Third Team in 2019-20. He was also picked to the All-Rookie Team in 2017-18. However, those honors pale in comparison to being selected to the First Team.

“I’m just thankful,” he said. First-team All-NBA, that’s a big deal, so I am grateful for that recognition.”
