After shining on the circuit this summer, Bradley Beal Elite standout Braxton Stacker made it official on Sunday, committing to play for Murray State at the next level.

Braxton announced his decision with a video posted to his social media accounts,

“Growing up playing basketball and looking up to those at the NBA and college level, you set goals for yourself to reach and that’s what I’ve been doing my whole life leading up to this point…with that being said, I will be committing to Murray State University. Go Racers.”

Braxton fielded offers from several strong programs including Southern Illinois, SIUE Arkansas Pine-Bluff and Boston University before ultimately choosing Murray State. As he enters his senior season at Cardinal Ritter College Prep in St. Louis, the two-time defending state champion in Class 5, he’ll turn his attention to a three-peat, knowing his future is secure.

“I would like to thank all the coaches who recruited me and invested all their time and energy into me. I’d also like to thank all my current and former coaches for believing in me and helping me to develop into the player I am today and giving me the chance to showcase my skills. I would like to thank my family for supporting me and keeping me on the right path to reach my goals. Last and certainly not least I would like to thank God for making all this possible and blessing me with this opportunity.”
